Wilfried Zaha seemingly gets linked with a move away from Crystal Palace every transfer window, and it’s happening again as reports are linking the winger with a move to Italy.
According to The Sun, and as tweeted out by @cpfc_xtra, AC Milan are chasing Zaha ahead of the January transfer window as they believe that the Crystal Palace star can help to fire them to a first title in ten years.
Roy Hodgson has praised Zaha a lot this season, saying after the earlier victory against Fulham: ‘He’s an excellent player.’ He drooled over the display against the Cottagers in which Zaha scored the decisive second goal in a 2-1 win.
There is no doubting the quality of the Ivorian, and he is in the form of his life as he has managed eight goals and two assists in his 14 Premier League appearances this campaign.
It would be very surprising if Palace let their talisman go in the January transfer window as it would be very hard to replace him. Clearly many supporters feel like this news is not what they want to hear and they are hoping that a move doesn’t come to fruition.
Here is how Palace fans reacted to the news on Zaha:
“No no no”
“Forgot it was nearly January…. here we go again”
“£80m minimum btw, we’re down without him”
“Don’t do this to me”
“And so it begins”
In other news, CPFC fans were fuming at one-star following the loss on Boxing Day. Have a read who it was here!
