Crystal Palace: Fans react to Eberechi Eze transfer news

A lot of Crystal Palace fans are reacting to the latest news which suggests that Championship midfielder Eberechi Eze is a player the Eagles will look to buy in the summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, the QPR midfielder is a ‘key target’ but he is in demand and is valued at about £20m. Hodgson has talked recently about injecting some young blood into his squad and Eze ‘ticks a lot of boxes.’
The 21 year-old definitely does tick a lot of boxes, as he is young, so he will bring down the average age of the squad which is currently the second oldest in the Premier League. His 12 goals this season show he would add some cutting edge to the team, they would actually rank him highest when compared with the Palace squad, albeit he is playing in a lower division.
Would Eze be a good signing for Palace?
Yes

No

This season he has averaged more shots per game than anyone in the Palace squad (2.2 to 1.6, via WhoScored) and only Wilfried Zaha (with 4.7) makes more dribbles (Eze has 3) over the same period, so it’s certainly easy to see why there’s apparent interest.
One Palace fan said, ‘Bring him home’, alluding to the fact that he is from South London and due to this he might see the Eagles as a perfect place to prove he can excel in England’s top flight.
