Gary Cahill has left Crystal Palace following a two-year stay at the club, following the expiration of his contract [Crystal Palace FC Official].

Becoming an important player in South-East London over his two years at the club, the 35-year-old made 47 appearances for the Eagles, registering three goal contributions; one goal and two assists [Transfermarkt].

Now, he has departed Selhurst Park as he looks towards pastures new in 2021/22.

Cahill has been mooted with a move north of the border to join Rangers, however no such details have come to light of whether these rumours could come to fruition at any point [Football Insider].
