Crystal Palace: Fans react to Jack Butland transfer update

Crystal Palace were having a quiet end to the domestic transfer window, with no real movements for any player. However, there has been a fresh transfer update which suggests that the Eagles might strike a deal for Jack Butland today.
The Eagles are worried about the severity of the injury to substitute goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey, who was injured this week on international duty with Wales. With the 33-year-old set to be sidelined until next year, Palace are now looking to Butland as a replacement.
According to London News Online and as tweeted by cpfc_xtra, Palace need to complete a deal (which will be permanent) before today’s 5pm deadline. Also, the Daily Mail have reported of how contact with Stoke was made last night and a deal is expected to be sorted out before the transfer window closes at 5pm.
Would you be happy with Butland signing for Palace?
Yes

No

The Stoke City goalkeeper, who has featured for England nine times, has Premier League experience and has made 275 appearances in all competitions in his career, per Transfermarkt. He has not featured for the Potters this season and is now seen as cover at the bet365 Stadium. He may then get a new lease of like under Roy Hodgson, so the transfer makes sense if Palace can get a cheap deal for him.
