![sherwood33](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/sherwood33-500x321.jpg)Aston Villa fans enjoying a pint and a pie here in the Football Transfer Tavern are looking over to the landlord who is showing everyone a story from [Metro](https://metro.co.uk/2015/08/25/aston-villa-agree-fee-over-adem-ljajic-transfer-from-roma-5359781/) – with the publication claiming that Aston Villa have agreed a fee for Roma winger Adem Ljajic.

Villa are expected to sign the midfielder, with him being [made available for transfer](https://metro.co.uk/2015/08/25/aston-villa-agree-fee-over-adem-ljajic-transfer-from-roma-5359781/)following the arrival of Edin Dzeko at the Stadio Olimpico.

The diminutive Serbian forward will be looking for redemption in the Premier League after a proposed move to Manchester United fell through in December 2009, after the Red Devils withdrew their option to sign him.

A plethora of Aston Villa fans here in the Tavern are actually getting quite excited about the Tim Sherwood revolution at Villa Park, and feel Ljajic would be a fantastic signing for the club, and will add a new element of pace and creativity!
