Transfer Tavern take
While his appointment would attract attention, especially given his minor experience in a managerial role, Rooney has done it all at the very top level of European football.
If Derby are to, at long last, clinch a sought-after promotion to the Premier League – Rooney could definitely be a viable candidate but it remains to be seen if he is given the chance to become the manager on a permanent basis.
