# Derby: Fans dreaming of Lawrence winner v Nottm Forest

**Derby County travel to Nottingham Forest this weekend in the East Midlands derby with both sides looking to earn the bragging rights before the international break.**

The Rams, of course, had the better season last year as they made the play-off final – which they lost to Aston Villa – but this year it has been the Reds that have had the better time of things.

Indeed, the Tricky Trees will feel as though they are the favourites for this one with them looking the more likely to challenge for the play-offs, though there is still a long way to go.

Certainly, the Rams won’t be giving up just yet and a win this weekend will boost their hopes greatly, with some fans wanting Tom Lawrence to hit the winner for rather controversial reasons.

Let’s take a look at what has been said on social media…

> Martin would be nice but just for the pure anger it would cause it would have to be Lawrence.

> Lawrence, imagine the abuse he will be getting, and the rage from them if he slots in the winner from outside the box in injury time.

Not long to go until kick-off, then, with this one of English football’s great rivalries.
