# Derby: Fans laud Krystian Bielik

**Derby County fans were absolutely delighted with the performance of midfielder Krystian Bielik during their 0-0 draw with Brentford on Wednesday.**

The Rams are currently struggling at the wrong end of the table in the Championship as they currently sit in the relegation zone. Brentford, meanwhile, are seventh in the table, just outside the play-off places, and they will be hoping to finally get into the Premier League this term after missing out in a gruelling play-off final last season.

However, Derby were able to pick up a valuable point, and Bielik’s display will have delighted current interim boss Wayne Rooney. The Poland international was commanding, winning [11](https://www.sofascore.com/brentford-derby-county/Csab) of his 14 duels and making four clearances and two tackles.

The Derby fans, it seems, were absolutely delighted with his display, and they took to social media platform Twitter to share their thoughts on his showing.

> He’s got something of a mobile Carbonari about him. Something of Zidane too weirdly.Similar gait or something. Potential defensive Zidane of the Championship? Phew!Just what t’Dr ordered. Big Col up top? YAS! Marshall? and finally this team has a spine. A decent squad too really.

> Said it previously but Bielik has been missed as much as Keogh was at the time. Cocu invested heavily in him to be the main man, showing why now [#dcfc](https://twitter.com/hashtag/dcfc?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [#dcfcfans](https://twitter.com/hashtag/dcfcfans?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)
