# ‘Do hope he’s injured’, ‘Thanks God’ – Liverpool fans oddly happy on Twitter as club confirm blow

**Heading into the international break after a major win has had the Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern dancing on the pool tables. Indeed, our resident Reds know there are some big issues to sort out, though are in a good collective mood.**

Now, what’s important is that everyone returns to Merseyside in good shape after the break as Jurgen Klopp looks to build upon this recent momentum. So, confirmation from the club that skipper Jordan Henderson had picked up a slight niggle has actually gone down rather well.

The midfielder has had to pull out of England’s squad for games with Germany and Brazil, boosting his chances of making Liverpool’s game at home to Southampton on 18th November. Key to their recent improvement, the club captain would be a notable absence in the engine room against the Saints.

[Confirming](https://twitter.com/LFC/status/927873104415686656) the news on Twitter, here’s a look at how Liverpool fans reacted.
