# ‘Easy run in to the title’ – Liverpool fans are dreaming of the perfect end to the season

**The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been daring to dream this week as the fixture list for the 2018/19 season has been announced. The club tweeted what their final five games look like, and with a home fixture against Chelsea in mid-Aprill, the fans have been picking which game they think they’re going to win the league. Fans can see the club’s full fixture list on the *[Liverpool website.](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/304318-liverpool-fc-premier-league-fixtures-2018-19-revealed)***

This season saw Liverpool finish a huge 25 points off of eventual champions Manchester City, as the Reds picked up 75 points to the Sky Blues’ 100, although they’ll be hoping they can make it much closer this season. In the end, Jurgen Klopp’s side left it until the final day of the season before securing a top-four finish, although with Chelsea’s 3-0 loss at Newcastle, the Reds didn’t have to do too much.

Next season though, the fans will be hoping that it’s not the top-four they’ll be fighting to secure, but the Premier League crown instead. Klopp has been tinkering with his side and with both Fabinho and Naby Keita joining the club this summer, the Kopites will be much better prepared to try and win their first League title since 1990 and end what will be a 29-year wait for title glory.

Despite the Liverpool fans in the Tavern’s blind optimism, the competition for the Premier League will be stiff and it will take another strong season from Mo Salah and co if they are to usurp Manchester City as Premier League champions.
