According to Football.London’s [Alasdair Gold,](https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/transfer-news/bale-celik-coutinho-wilson-truth-18738362) Spurs have a ‘great relationship’ with QPR, with plenty of links between the two clubs. Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho is rumoured to be a [keen admirer](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8388943/EFL-starlets-join-Premier-League-Liverpool-ManUnited-eye-Jamie-Vardy.html) of the two-cap England under-21 international as he seeks to rebuild his midfield before the start of next season. ![](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/THE-BREAKDOWN.png) The Lilywhites have been linked with the 22-year-old before and he has admitted that he is [inspired](https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/transfer-news/eberechi-eze-tottenham-transfer-latest-18287865) by Dele Alli, who made the jump from MK Dons to Spurs and went on to play for England at the World Cup. Spurs duo [Jack Clarke and Luke Amos](https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/transfer-news/eberechi-eze-tottenham-transfer-latest-18029319) both spent the past season on loan at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, which could pave the way for Eze to head in the opposite direction. [\[freshpress-poll id=”313368″\]](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/[freshpress-poll%20id=%22313368%22]) Gold notes that [QPR](https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/transfer-news/bale-celik-coutinho-wilson-truth-18738362) want to sign Amos, as he has a [close relationship](https://talksport.com/football/efl/743206/championship-transfer-news-qpr-close-agreement-tottenham-luke-amos/) with Mark Warburton, and Daniel Levy may look to use the defensive midfielder as leverage to sort out a deal for his teammate in the summer. Eze, who is 22 years of age, scored 14 goals and supplied eight assists in the Championship last season (via [WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/332403/Show/Eberechi-Eze)). ![](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Verdict.png) Mourinho knows that he must strengthen in the summer, as Spurs [struggled to score](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-kane/leistungsdaten/spieler/132098) during [Harry Kane’s](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/11995016/jose-mourinho-harry-kane-heung-min-son-and-all-tottenham-players-recovered-from-injury) absence, although he will have a [limited budget](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/11720841/jose-mourinho-spurs-transfer-budget-slashed/) with which to work in the transfer window. While [the set-piece specialist](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/332403/Show/Eberechi-Eze) has made it clear that he wants to “[play at the highest level](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11711/11981014/ebere-eze-how-qpr-revived-england-u21-stars-career)“, he will want to play first-team football, which is something Mourinho cannot [guarantee](https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/transfer-news/bale-celik-coutinho-wilson-truth-18738362). The Lilywhites should be able to offer European football if they progress through the qualifying rounds of the [Europa League](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11959/12017243/champions-league-and-europa-league-qualification-what-arsenals-fa-cup-win-means), although Eze could decide to take his chances elsewhere instead. It would be a real shame if Mourinho misses out on his man, with Eze emerging as one of [the best players](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9792606/southampton-qpr-starlet-eberechi-eze/) in the Championship. Levy will have to act quickly if he wants to avoid a repeat of not getting Aston Villa star [Jack Grealish](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/grealish-not-bothered-about-missing-out-on-25m-tottenham/1gquit6jwlem14lv5emnkrjgp) for a cheaper price, as the Midlanders’ captain will now cost a staggering [£80m](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8428717/Aston-Villa-80m-asking-price-captain-Jack-Grealish.html) in the transfer market. ***Tottenham fans, do you think Levy should sign Eze this summer?
