# Arsenal and West Ham’s transfer move for attacker hangs in the balance, Euro giants set to swoop

The 29-year-old, who was capped for Spain earlier in the campaign, was pursued by Arsenal in January, who couldn’t persuade Celta Vigo to part-ways with their target, whilst West Ham have also expressed an interest in the veteran.
