# Everton: Fans hail Allan and Dominic Calvert-Lewin news

**Many Everton fans have been hailing some early team news ahead of Liverpool as Carlo Ancelotti is confident both Allan and Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be fit.**

Speaking to evertontv, as quoted by Everton’s official [website](https://www.evertonfc.com/news/2033616/ancelotti-optimistic-over-allan-and-calvert-lewin-derby-chances), the Italian boss hopes that both players will be available to start the game after spells out with injury in what would be a big boost to the Merseyside club.

Allan would likely slot straight into the heart of the midfield, as he has been crucial to their success in the Premier League so far in the 2020/21 term.

The 30-year-old has won no fewer than 6.7 of his duels a game in the top flight and also averaged 3.4 tackles, 1.7 successful dribbles and 1.1 interceptions per match ([Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/player/allan/158277)).

Calvert-Lewin has already scored no fewer than 18 goals and supplied a further four assists in just 25 games in total over all competitions so far this season ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/dominic-calvert-lewin/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/306024/plus/0?saison=2020&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=)), and offers the Goodison Park faithful their biggest goal threat which could be vital in finally getting one over their bitter rivals at Anfield.
