# Everton: Fans attack Bernard, Walcott and Sigurdsson following Ancelotti frustration

**According to a [claim](https://twitter.com/charles_stevo/status/1218948701500121089) from former global sports journalist and pundit Charles Stevenson, who has an [excellent track record with Goodison rumours](https://twitter.com/charles_stevo/status/1027606021504724992), Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has become[‘frustrated’](https://twitter.com/charles_stevo/status/1218948701500121089) with Toffees trio Bernard, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Theo Walcott – prompting some supporters to lash out in full agreement with the manager’s alleged feelings whilst also criticising the club as a whole.**

The Italian manager took over from the sacked Marco Silva in late December, apparently so far not being impressed with the three stars – with all of them having a combined total of just [three assists](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/31/Show/England-Everton) this campaign. According to[WhoScored.com](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/69346/Show/Gylfi-Sigurdsson), Sigurdsson has impressed the most when it comes to passing – having averaged an [81.7%](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/69346/Show/Gylfi-Sigurdsson) completion rate so far this campaign – while Walcott has accumulated the joint-most shots per game ([1.5](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/13796/Show/Theo-Walcott)) along with the Icelandic midfielder.

Bernard, however, reigns supreme in terms of his dribble completion – amassing a better rate ([1.3](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/101642/Show/Bernard)) than both Walcott and Sigurdsson. However, given their lack of goals and assists combined, some supporters have flocked to criticise the trio and insist they must do better – along with other players like Alex Iwobi. Toffees fans also took it upon themselves to make suggestions over better playing positions for a few seemingly out of form individuals whilst also lambasting the club’s past recruitment.

> They’re all massively overrated by Everton fans especially Bernard. Nice turns and touches. No end product or assists.

> Bernard looks a natural number 10 he’s wasted on the wing when we need creativity

> Play Iwobi in the right position and he will get some. As he did in the league cup where he registered a goal and an assist

> Our recruitment in the last couple of summer windows has been with the intention of salvaging the mess Walsh & co. left us in.
>
> Bolasie, Martina, Sandro to name those who will never get a game here again yet are still on our books on ridiculous wages.
>
> That’s why we can’t rid.

> I can’t remember anybody missing open goals regularly.\
> We don’t create enough chances.
