# Everton: Fans briefly hopeful for Marco Silva sacking following Farhad Moshiri attendance

**The Everton owner attended Goodison Park to watch their [2-0 win over Watford in the Carabao Cup](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ly-8so_DVs4), prompting fans to theorise how he could be there to sack manager Marco Silva.**

It’s no secret that Toffees supporters are dissatisfied with their current manager, with Silva’s side sitting 16th in the table and losing [five out of their last six](https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1DVJR_enGB846GB846&sxsrf=ACYBGNSx-KTL6bSUQw-GSa4wHwce4d4wRQ%3A1572431462065&ei=Zma5XcXQA92M1fAPz_SEmAc&q=everton&oq=everton&gs_l=psy-ab.3..35i39i70i253j35i39j0i131l3j0i67j0i131l2j0i67j0i131.705000.706127..706414...1.0..0.113.566.6j1......0....1..gws-wiz.....10..35i362i39j0i131i67j0i131i20i263.sCdkZ70MQCU&ved=0ahUKEwjFm-vV48PlAhVdRhUIHU86AXMQ4dUDCAs&uact=5#sie=t;/m/0mmd6;2;/m/02_tc;mt;fp;1;;) games.

Despite a temporary mood of positivity following Everton’s [2-0 win over West Ham](https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1DVJR_enGB846GB846&sxsrf=ACYBGNSx-KTL6bSUQw-GSa4wHwce4d4wRQ%3A1572431462065&ei=Zma5XcXQA92M1fAPz_SEmAc&q=everton&oq=everton&gs_l=psy-ab.3..35i39i70i253j35i39j0i131l3j0i67j0i131l2j0i67j0i131.705000.706127..706414...1.0..0.113.566.6j1......0....1..gws-wiz.....10..35i362i39j0i131i67j0i131i20i263.sCdkZ70MQCU&ved=0ahUKEwjFm-vV48PlAhVdRhUIHU86AXMQ4dUDCAs&uact=5#sie=m;/g/11h3_zllbn;2;/m/02_tc;dt;fp;1;;) a fortnight ago, the norm was quickly restored after Brighton fought back for a [3-2 victory against them](https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1DVJR_enGB846GB846&sxsrf=ACYBGNSx-KTL6bSUQw-GSa4wHwce4d4wRQ%3A1572431462065&ei=Zma5XcXQA92M1fAPz_SEmAc&q=everton&oq=everton&gs_l=psy-ab.3..35i39i70i253j35i39j0i131l3j0i67j0i131l2j0i67j0i131.705000.706127..706414...1.0..0.113.566.6j1......0....1..gws-wiz.....10..35i362i39j0i131i67j0i131i20i263.sCdkZ70MQCU&ved=0ahUKEwjFm-vV48PlAhVdRhUIHU86AXMQ4dUDCAs&uact=5#sie=m;/g/11h3_zgnf7;2;/m/02_tc;dt;fp;1;;) at the weekend.

As a result, fans are slowly becoming impatient for Silva to be removed from his position – and after majority stakeholder Moshiri attended their Carabao round of 16 win – they were hopeful he wasn’t just there for the football.

Some supporters theorised that he could be there to hand the Portuguese boss his marching orders, with a series of tweets calling for him to be sacked.

Here’s how they responded to Moshiri’s presence.
