# Everton: Fans buzz as Jordan Pickford is Chelsea transfer target to replace Kepa

**Many Everton fans have been buzzing as the [Daily Express](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1301372/Chelsea-Everton-Jordan-Pickford-Transfer-Wish-List-Kepa-Arrizabalaga-Valencia-News) reported that Chelsea have made Jordan Pickford their number one transfer target to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga in the upcoming summer window.**

As per the outlet, Frank Lampard may choose to loan out the Spanish keeper for two years with an option of a permanent deal at the end of the spell.

Valencia are in the running to sign the 25-year old, which could pave way for Pickford to move to Stamford Bridge.

Comparing the two goalkeepers in the Premier League so far in the 2019/20 season, the English international has a better clean sheet ratio than Kepa, having kept [eight shutouts in 31 games](https://www.sofascore.com/player/jordan-pickford/138530) (roughly 25.8 per cent) compared to the Spaniard’s [six in 27](https://www.sofascore.com/player/kepa-arrizabalaga/232422) (roughly 22.2 per cent).

Pickford also makes more saves per top flight match ([2.5](https://www.sofascore.com/player/jordan-pickford/138530)) than Kepa ([1.7](https://www.sofascore.com/player/kepa-arrizabalaga/232422)) and averages more touches on the ball ([40.5](https://www.sofascore.com/player/jordan-pickford/138530)) compared to to the CFC man ([36.6](https://www.sofascore.com/player/kepa-arrizabalaga/232422)).

Based off of these stats, perhaps it is not a surprise that Chelsea have looked at the 26-year old to replace Kepa, however EFC supporters seem happy to let him go too.

Having also made [three errors leading to goals](https://www.sofascore.com/player/jordan-pickford/138530) in the top flight so far in this campaign, these Toffees buzzed upon reading that Pickford may be leaving them:
