# Everton: Fans congratulate Richarlison after he passes his English exams

**Everton fans were congratulating striker Richarlison yesterday after he revealed that he had passed his English exams.**

The Brazilian has been learning the language since moving to the Premier League and has often [kept fans up to date](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league/everton-fans-heap-praise-on-richarlison-for-taking-english-lessons/) with his progress on Twitter.

He continued to do so on Thursday night when he posted a [message](https://twitter.com/richarlison97/status/1205258268228108289) – somewhat ironically in Portuguese – that he had received positive results, to cap a decent week for the 22-year-old after scoring the [opener](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50611310) in the Toffees’ 3-1 win over Chelsea last weekend.

Everton fans, as well as supporters from his time in Brazil, offered their congratulations to the ex-Watford forward for his achievement, with some Toffees supporters backing their man to continue his goalscoring form off the back of getting to grips with the locals’ language.

Below is a selection of replies from the Everton faithful as Richarlison continues to deliver both on and off the pitch:

> Yessss celebrate with a hattrick on Sunday lad 💙
