# Everton: Fans delighted to see Cenk Tosun linked with Crystal Palace

**Loads of Everton fans have been reacting to a possible January exit, as Paul Joyce reports Cenk Tosun could be on his way to Crystal Palace.**

Ah the Sam Allardyce era. It brought some decent results, such as the 1-1 draw at Anfield, and some bizarre moments, such as the manager [inexplicably lashing out at fans](https://royalbluemersey.sbnation.com/2018/4/6/17205748/sam-allardyce-everton-fans-journalists-non-professionals-facebook-twitter-merseyside-derby-preview), but most of all it brought two [terrible signings](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42567472).

Theo Walcott has scored just [nine times](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/theo-walcott/leistungsdaten/spieler/33713) in 71 appearances since joining under Big Sam in [January 2018](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42715223), while Tosun has only netted [ten times](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cenk-tosun/leistungsdaten/spieler/45671) in 51 games for the Toffees, and it looks like the latter could be on his way out.

According to [The Times’ Paul Joyce](https://twitter.com/_pauljoyce/status/1213505371534438402), fellow Premier League outfit Crystal Palace want to sign the Turkey international on loan.

The Eagles don’t exactly have the best track record with striker signings – looking at you Christian Benteke and Alexander Sorloth – and it seems plenty of Toffees fans would be happy for Tosun to be their next flop.
