# Everton: Fans flock to Alan Myers’ transfer update on Max Aarons

**Many Everton fans have been flocking to an update from Alan Myers on Max Aarons.**

As per a [tweet](https://twitter.com/ALANMYERSMEDIA/status/1385583391601528835) from the sport news editor, Daniel Farke has denied that Norwich City are in advanced talks with the Goodison Park outfit over the potential sale of the right-back. This is despite Italian football journalist and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano recently [claiming](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/everton-fc-transfer-rumours/everton-fans-laud-fabrizio-romanos-max-aarons-transfer-update-2/) the opposite.

Nonetheless, what is for sure is that Aarons would be a welcome addition to the Merseyside club, given that Seamus Coleman is 32 years of age and Carlo Ancelotti’s team need to start thinking about buying a long-term successor for the Irishman.

Aarons would certainly fit the bill, and at just 21 years old, the England under-21 international has a lot of potential left to fulfil.
