# Everton: Fans flock to club post on Robin Olsen

**Many Everton fans have urged the Goodison Park faithful to sign Robin Olsen on a permanent deal as he admitted that him and his family want to stay.**

Speaking to the official [website](https://www.evertonfc.com/news/2021112/goalkeeper-olsens-everton-intention) of the Merseyside club, the Sweden international, currently on loan for the 2020/21 term from AS Roma, said that his family and him ‘want to stay’ as Carlo Ancelotti’s team have not yet decided as to whether they wish to sign him on a permanent basis after his loan spell ends.

Olsen has made a decent impression in some of his most recent displays while stepping in for Jordan Pickford, with pundit Danny Mills telling [Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/mills-pickford-is-looking-over-his-shoulder-at-everton/) that the 31-year-old is a ‘very good’ goalkeeper.

Pickford has already made [two](https://www.sofascore.com/player/jordan-pickford/138530) errors that have led to goals in the Premier League so far this season, and so Olsen may be seen as a more steady pair of hands.
