# Everton: Fans fume as Marco Silva looks set to take charge of Leicester City tie

**Everton fans have reacted furiously on social media after it was revealed that Marco Silva will be in charge of the Toffees when they take on Leicester City this Sunday, according to [Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11671/11870803/marco-silva-will-be-in-charge-of-everton-for-leicester-clash).**

The Portuguese manager has come under colossal pressure at Goodison Park as his side were booed off after their [2-0](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50443054) defeat at home to Norwich City on Saturday.

Silva refused to speak about his future after the final whistle and many supporters felt like his time was up after picking up just [four](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) wins out of their first 13 Premier League games.

He arrived at the club in May 2018 after he was [dismissed](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/marco-silva/profil/trainer/19631) by Watford six months prior to his appointment and has taken charge of the Blues on [59](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/marco-silva/profil/trainer/19631) different occasions.

Supporters were livid with the update on Silva’s position and made their feelings clear on social media.

Here you will find some of the best comments from Everton fans:

> Giving Marco Silva 2 games is the worst of all outcomes (if true). What is he meant to do in 2 tough away games? Either he is the right man or he’s not. Leadership is about making tough decisions at important moments. The chairman needs to show he is able to make one.

> Let’s not pretend that the only reason Marco Silva is still employed by us is because the board have no plan B . It’s panic stations in the boardroom. Silva knows he’s a deadman walking to as do the players who will all down tools. We’re a circus

> That’s a rubbish decision .. [@Everton](https://twitter.com/Everton?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) .. cowardly .. lacking in leadership .. Mr Moshiri can’t accept that his ludicrous appointment of Marco Silva was so wrong. Grow up Mr Moshiri .. it’s your train set but it’s our club since 1878 .. we’re mighty. You’re just an irritant [https://t.co/HTD14miVYe](https://t.co/HTD14miVYe)
