# Everton: Fans hail Christian Eriksen enquiry

**Many Everton fans have been hailing a report about the club making a transfer enquiry to assess the availability of Christian Eriksen.**

As per the print edition of [La Stampa](https://www.lastampa.it/) (via [SempreInter](https://sempreinter.com/2021/01/05/everton-arsenal-enquire-about-inters-christian-eriksen-italian-media-reports/)), the attacking midfield player may be allowed to leave Inter Milan on a loan deal during this month’s window providing that a club can cover his wages for the rest of the 2020/21 term.

The Merseyside club, as well as Arsenal, have both reportedly made enquiries about the possibility of signing the former Spurs ace.

The Denmark international could certainly be a shrewd addition by Carlo Ancelotti’s team, given that he played in no fewer than 226 games in the Premier League over seven consecutive seasons, scoring a very impressive 51 goals and making a further 66 assists ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/christian-eriksen/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/69633/plus/0?saison=&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=GB1&pos=&trainer_id=)) whilst at Tottenham.
