# Everton: Fans hail Ellis Simms transfer update

**Lots of Everton fans have been left hailing the latest transfer update from the Goodison Park faithful about Ellis Simms.**

As per the official [website](https://www.evertonfc.com/news/1980851/simms-joins-blackpool-on-loan) of the Merseyside club, the 20-year-old has joined Blackpool on loan in the EFL League One for the rest of the 2020/21 term, as he will get some very valuable experience playing men’s football.

The striker has been a revelation for the Everton U23s team so far this season, scoring no fewer than eight goals in 12 games in the Premier League 2 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ellis-simms/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/511550/plus/0?saison=2020&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=)), and perhaps it is time now for the youngster to go out and prove himself with the long-term aim of trying to break through into the first team under Carlo Ancelotti.
