# Everton: Fans look back on Europa League victory against Wolfsburg

**Everton fans have been [looking back](https://twitter.com/TheBlueRoomEFC/status/1199981025360785408) at their famous [2-0](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/30204400) win against Wolfsburg that saw them advance to the last 32 of the Europa League.**

The Toffees finished [top](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/30204400) of Group H as a result of their emphatic win in Germany and finished the first round of the competition unbeaten.

Goals from Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas sealed the three points for Roberto Martinez’s side and a ticket into the next stage of Europe’s 2nd tier tournament.

The Blues would eventually be knocked out of the Europa League by Dynamo Kyiv and exited in the Round of 16, losing [5-2](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/31949673) in the second leg of the affair.

Supporters looked back in awe at the highlights of the game, published by the Blue Room on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/TheBlueRoomEFC/status/1199981025360785408) (via [@TheBlueRoomEFC](https://twitter.com/TheBlueRoomEFC)), making their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that part of him wishes that club owner Farhad Moshiri didn’t take over the club as he has taken the club backwards since the European days earlier in the decade.
