# Everton: Fans laud latest Dominic Calvert-Lewin goalscoring statistic

**Dominic Calvert-Lewin is rapidly becoming one of the most clinical strikers in the Premier League.**

Everton’s No.9 has continued to impress after making easy work of reaching double goalscoring figures last season. The club has posted a stat on the Englishman, revealing that he has now scored 12 goals in 22 appearances under Carlo Ancelotti.

After tallying a total of [13 goals](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/dominic-calvert-lewin/leistungsdaten/spieler/306024/plus/0?saison=2019) in the Premier League last campaign,  Calvert-Lewin has carried on his dangerous form. In just two fixtures, the [£21.6million-valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/dominic-calvert-lewin/marktwertverlauf/spieler/306024) striker has found the back of the net four times. His hat-trick against West Brom added to his count and he is the league’s top scorer so far, alongside Heung-min Son (via [BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/top-scorers)).

As it stands, Everton are second in the league table after being just one of five teams to win 100% of their games so far. The Toffees sit behind Leicester City on goal difference.

Many fans have flooded the comments of the Calvert-Lewin information to praise their striker. One supporter has generously branded him as having a ‘Ronaldo mentality’ as he is constantly bettering himself and pushing to be the best.

> One thing which really defines DCL as a player is his ambition & work ethic. He has the Ronaldo mentality – he wants to be the best and will push himself to the limits to achieve being the best.
