# Everton: Fans praise Jordan Pickford after helping England qualify for Euro 2020

**Everton fans have [heaped praise](https://twitter.com/JPickford1/status/1195115592816234497) on shot-stopper Jordan Pickford after his performance during England’s [7-0](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50327100) victory against Montenegro on Thursday.**

The result meant that the Three Lions [qualified](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50327100) for Euro 2020 with ease, and with one qualifier remaining against Kosovo on Sunday.

Pickford found himself with very little to do but made [two](https://www.sofascore.com/montenegro-england/nUbsORc) crucial saves and kept a clean sheet as the Three Lions ran riot at Wembley during England’s final qualifier on home soil before the tournament begins next June.
