# Everton: Fans react as Middlesbrough want Yannick Bolasie

**Loads of [Everton](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/?s=everton) fans have been reacting as Keith Downie has [tweeted](https://twitter.com/SkySports_Keith/status/1316830160558096384) that Middlesbrough want to sign Yannick Bolasie.**

According to the Sky Sports journalist and transfer guru, the Championship club will attempt to pull off a move to sign the DR Congo international before this evening’s domestic window deadline.

However, the Merseyside club would need to subsidise a big chunk of his wages for any kind of deal to happen, but Bolasie is apparently keen on a move to Neil Warnock’s side.

The 31-year old has not played for Everton since 2018 and has only managed to score two goals and provide four assists in 32 games over all competitions, as per [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/yannick-bolasie/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/75471/plus/0?saison=&verein=29&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=), with a [cruciate ligament injury](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/yannick-bolasie/verletzungen/spieler/75471) overshadowing his time at Goodison Park.

Bolasie currently earns £75,000 per week, or £3.9m per year (via [Salary Sport](https://salarysport.com/football/player/yannick-bolasie/)), and so a move to ‘Boro may suit all parties involved.

### Everton fan reaction to possible Bolasie exit
