# Everton: Fans react to Jonjoe Kenny interest

**Lots of Everton fans have been reacting to a transfer update as Pete O’Rourke has [tweeted](https://twitter.com/SportsPeteO/status/1353793733091880963) that Burnley are hopeful of securing a deal for Jonjoe Kenny.**

[Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/revealed-pl-club-make-move-to-sign-everton-player-7m-will-seal-jan-deal/) have previously reported that £7m would be enough to lure the 23-year-old away from the Goodison Park faithful in this month’s transfer window, but with just a few days remaining, Sean Dyche’s team need to get a move on in order to secure the deal.

It would be a move that would suit the Merseyside club, as the right-back finds himself behind Seamus Coleman and even Mason Holgate in the pecking order, having only played in a mere eight games in all competitions so far in the 2020/21 term ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jonjoe-kenny/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/258883/plus/0?saison=2020&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=)).

Thus, getting a decent sum of money for him now would be useful for the Toffees, especially if Carlo Ancelotti’s side are looking to bring in any new additions before the window shuts.
