# Everton: Fans react to Moise Kean image

**Everton continued preparations for the new season by taking on Championship side Blackburn Rovers in a training-ground friendly on Saturday.**

The Blues ran out [1-0 winners](https://www.evertonfc.com/news/2192038/gbamin-scores-first-everton-goal-in-training-game-win) thanks to a goal from Jean Phillipe-Gbamin just before half-time. The Ivorian converted the rebound after returning striker Moise Kean’s shot was saved.

The Italian striker spent last season on loan at Mauricio Pochettino’s Paris Saint-Germain and [scored 16 goals](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/paris-st-germain/top-scorers) in all competitions. That was in stark contrast to his meagre return of [four goals in 37 competitive appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/moise-kean/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/364135/verein/29) for the Toffees.

### What’s the latest on Moise Kean’s future?

According to journalist [Saber Desfarges](https://twitter.com/SaberDesfa/status/1416021555704913921), Kean is growing ‘impatient’ as he looks to secure a return to the French capital.

Fabrizio Romano [says](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1412211221395349505) that PSG have been in talks with Everton for ‘months’ in the hope of striking another loan agreement. The Ligue 1 runners-up have been left waiting for a [‘final decision’](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1412211221395349505) from the club and their new manager Rafael Benitez.

Fan feed [Toffee TV](https://twitter.com/ToffeeTVEFC/status/1416425775616643079) posted a snap of Kean’s reaction to Gbamin’s goal against Blackburn, noting that it was ‘good to see’ him back in an Everton shirt. However, with many noticing that the 21-year-old looked bowed and less than ecstatic, some supporters took this as a sign of him being “sulky” and questioned his attitude.

### Everton fans critical of Kean demeanour

**“Blimey, looks over the moon. That pic captures the reason we don’t want him at the club. Poor attitude, really hope someone wants him, have no time for him at all.”**
