# Everton: Fans react to training clip ahead of Bournemouth game in Premier League

**Loads of Everton fans have been reacting to a clip posted on the [Merseyside club’s official Twitter page](https://twitter.com/Everton/status/1286342222959517697) of the players training ahead of their final game of the 2019/20 season at home to Eddie Howe’s AFC Bournemouth at Goodison Park in the Premier League.**

As per the [clip](https://twitter.com/Everton/status/1286342222959517697), there were some nice goals scored by the likes of Andre Gomes and Bernard at the training ground at USM Finch Farm – one fan even commented that they look like ‘prime Messi’ in training.

Another EFC supporter took notice of Leighton Baines, claiming that the Blues should [‘sign Baines up now’](https://twitter.com/Monolini/status/1286349321999441920), as it could well be his last appearance for the Toffees against the Cherries as he has not yet signed a [contract extension offered to him](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52913161#:~:text=Everton%20have%20offered%20left%2Dback,he%20has%20made%20417%20appearances.).

The 35-year old has arguably become a club legend having played in a rather impressive 419 games across 13 consecutive seasons, scoring 39 goals and making 67 assists, according to [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/leighton-baines/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/13507/plus/0?saison=&verein=29&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=).

Nevertheless, if it turns out to be his last match, the English left-back will surely want to go out with a bang.

> How come Gomes shoots in training? In a game he always seems to find one clear opening to shoot with no pressure but passes it sideways 🤷‍♂️

> How come Bernard rattles them in from all points in training but can’t keep hold of the ball in live games?
