# Everton: Fans slam Alex Iwobi versus Rotherham United

**Many Everton fans have been slamming the display of Alex Iwobi in the first half of their FA Cup tie against Rotherham United at Goodison Park.**

The Merseyside club faithful were especially displeased with the crossing of the Nigeria international as he struggled to find his man on numerous occasions.

With just the four assists for the former Arsenal ace in his 46 previous games in all competitions for the Toffees before today’s encounter ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alex-iwobi/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/242631/plus/0?saison=&verein=29&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=)), he needs to work on his end product otherwise he risks being dropped by Carlo Ancelotti for the foreseeable future.

Nonetheless, it was not a performance against the Millers that impressed many Blues supporters, as the winger will hope to improve on his lacklustre display going into the last few months of the 2020/21 term, in where EFC will surely be hoping to qualify for European competition for the next season.
