# Everton: Fans slam Allan news as Borussia Dortmund interested in Napoli ace

**Lots of Everton fans have been slamming transfer news on Allan as Mario Giunta (via his [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/mariogiunta/) story) has reported that Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing the SSC Napoli ace in the summer window.**

As per the Sky Sports Italia journalist, the German club value the 29-year old at €25 million, which is the equivalent of around £22.6 million.

However, Gennaro Gattuso’s team are apparently looking for a fee closer to €40 million, which roughly equates to £36.2 million.

Indeed, Allan has been a transfer target of the Toffees throughout the window, with one [report](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/everton-fc-transfer-rumours/everton-fans-excited-allan-transfer-latest-deal-close/) even claiming that the Blues are close to reaching an agreement to sign the Brazilian.

The central midfield player would arguably be an upgrade on what Carlo Ancelotti currently has at his disposal at Goodison Park, as he averaged more tackles and key passes than Fabian Delph, Tom Davies and Andre Gomes in their respective domestic leagues in the 2019/20 season, according to [Whoscored](https://www.whoscored.com/PlayerComparison).

However, if the Merseyside club do not act fast, Allan may well slip through their fingers and into the hands of Dortmund, who can also offer him UEFA Champions League football for the next campaign.
