# Everton: Fans slam Bernard versus West Ham United

**Many Everton fans have been left slamming the display of Bernard in the 1-0 home loss to West Ham United in the Premier League.**

The Brazil international did not have the best of games at Goodison Park for the Merseyside club, earning himself a very measly 6.1 overall rating on [Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/everton-west-ham-united/MY), the lowest out of any of his teammates and the joint-lowest out of any player to have set foot on the pitch yesterday evening.

The 28 year-old lost out on eight of his nine duels in the clash, and also failed to record a single successful dribble, accurate cross or long ball, all while losing possession of the ball no fewer than 18 times in the match ([Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/everton-west-ham-united/MY)).

He will surely have to step up his game if he wants another chance in Carlo Ancelotti’s starting eleven.
