# Everton: Fans slam Jonjoe Kenny as they tell Schalke they will consider selling

**Plenty of Everton fans have been slamming Jonjoe Kenny as [Sport1](https://www.sport1.de/fussball/bundesliga/2020/09/fc-schalke-transfer-von-jonjoe-kenny-vom-fc-everton-abgehakt) reported that FC Schalke 04, with whom the 23-year old spent the 2019/20 term on loan, would apparently love to have him back.**

However, according to the outlet, the German club would only like to have Kenny back on loan again, whereas the Toffees would like to sell him on a permanent deal.

Carlo Ancelotti’s team are said to want 18 million euros for the Englishman, which is the equivalent of around £16.7 million.

Perhaps a permanent transfer away from Goodison Park for Kenny would not be a bad thing at all, as he has only managed to play 40 games over all competitions for the Blues across four consecutive campaigns, as per [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jonjoe-kenny/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/258883/plus/0?saison=&verein=29&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=).

£16.7 million would also arguably be too much to turn down for the right-back, who may have his playing time limited by club-captain Seamus Coleman in his position, however, they may have to find another buyer.

These EFC supporters slammed Kenny on Twitter as they think selling the full-back would be the best option:

> If we got 16.6m I’d be selling all day long.
