# Everton: Fans slam Theo Walcott after Brighton and Hove Albion display

**Loads of Everton fans have been slamming Theo Walcott as he failed to make an impact when he came off of the bench in the Merseyside club’s 4-2 win at Goodison Park against Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion in their fourth Premier League game of the 2020/21 term so far.**

The 31-year old came on in the 78th minute to replace James Rodriguez and failed to stop Yves Bissouma from scoring a second goal in added time for the Seagulls, in what would have been a more comfortable win for the Toffees.

Walcott’s overall display was far from impressive itself, as despite only having a small cameo to try and impress Carlo Ancelotti, he only managed to make a single pass, have just two touches of the ball in total, and registered no shots, dribbles, key passes or crosses in the game, according to [Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/everton-brighton-and-hove-albion/FsY).

These EFC supporters slammed the winger on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/TheGwladysSt/status/1312420170120466432), with one Blue even branding him as a ‘wage thief,’ as he reportedly earns £100,000 per week, or £5.2 million a year, as per [Spotrac](https://www.spotrac.com/epl/everton-fc/payroll/):

> OMG Walcott looked like a statue! Why wasn’t Gordon given a runout if Theo is just going to lackadaisically I walk around?
