# Everton: Fans want Idrissa Gueye to return as he is likely to leave PSG

**Many Everton fans have called for the return of Idrissa Gueye as [Le10 Sport](https://le10sport.com/football/mercato/exclu-mercato-psg-clap-de-fin-pour-idrissa-gueye-513341) have reported that the Paris Saint-Germain ace is likely to leave in the summer transfer window.**

As per the outlet, PSG sporting director Leonardo is open to selling the former Toffees ace and a deal could be completed once the Champions League is finished at the end of this month.

However, if Carlo Ancelotti were to put in a bid for him, they may face competition from the likes of fellow Premier League rivals Manchester United and Wolves for his services.

There has been [speculation before](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/everton-fc-transfer-rumours/everton-fans-speculate-idrissa-gueye-comments-thiago-silva/) as to whether the central midfield player would re-join following links with his fellow teammate Thiago Silva to the Toffees, but no concrete offer has been made as of yet.

The [£21.6m-valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/idrissa-gueye/profil/spieler/126665) ace had played in 108 games across three consecutive seasons during his time at Goodison Park, scoring four goals and supplying a further five assists, according to [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/idrissa-gueye/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/126665/plus/0?saison=&verein=29&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=).

These Everton supporters on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/TheGwladysSt/status/1290603229877805056) called for the return of the Senegal international:
