Lots of Everton fans have been left to laud a goal scored by Ellis Simms while out on loan for Blackpool against Swindon Town on Saturday afternoon.

As shared by Toffee TV on their Twitter page, the 20-year-old unleashed a fierce strike on the half volley to give the Tangerines the lead, in a game where they eventually won 2-0 away from home in League One.

That is one of four goals that Simms has scored in the division now, while he has also made two assists in the 12 games that he has played in total so far (Transfermarkt).

It is not a bad return at all, and if he keeps scoring goals like that, then the English striker will surely catch the eye of Carlo Ancelotti and may be in with a chance of first-team football for the 2021/22 season.
