Lots of Everton fans have been purring over Dominic Calvert-Lewin as he scored his first goal for the senior England team on his very first outing.

The 23-year old was able to pounce on a cross from Aston Villa ace Jack Grealish to tuck home a bullet header to open the scoring versus Wales in a friendly game at Wembley Stadium.

The Three Lions ran out 3-0 winners against Ryan Giggs’ team in the end thanks to further goals from Wolves man Conor Coady and Southampton striker Danny Ings.

However, it was Calvert-Lewin who grabbed the headlines as he continued his fine scoring form he has shown for the Merseyside club now at international level.

He has been almost an entirely different player since Carlo Ancelotti’s arrival at the club, bagging a remarkable 17 goals in 26 appearances.
