Many Everton fans have been reacting to the news that James Rodriguez will not play versus Leicester City in the Premier League.
Speaking to the media in his pre-game press conference, Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that the Colombia international as well as Seamus Coleman and Fabian Delph will miss the clash against Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes in what may well turn out to be a big blow in their chances of getting all three points at the King Power stadium.
Will Rodriguez be a success at Everton?
The former Real Madrid ace has scored three goals and made a further four assists in 11 games in all competitions so far for the Goodison Park faithful in the 2020/21 term (Transfermarkt), and thus could have been the creative spark needed to unlock the defence of LCFC.
Nonetheless, they will have to find a way without him to build upon the very impressive 1-0 win against Chelsea on the weekend.

Coleman back at the weekend is great, Delph unavailable also pretty good news 😅
What’s going with James though? All seems a bit weird to me. https://t.co/W7iSAqlcqy

Same team it is then for tomorrow. Tough now what you do with Rodriguez, no doubt he’s the only creative player we have and is head and shoulders above everyone else in the team but we can’t afford to carry him the way we ship in goals https://t.co/nnekBgV6Ce
