Everton: Fans react to club’s post regarding Joshua King

Fans of Everton have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which the club relayed information regarding their new signing, Joshua King.
Beating Fulham to the signing of the 29-year-old late on deadline day, it was eventually confirmed that Everton had landed King on a what is originally a six-month deal – with an option to extend in the summer – with the Toffees paying Championship side Bournemouth a ‘nominal fee’ for the striker.
And, following the confirmation of his signing, Everton’s official Twitter account shared some of the Norway international’s stats, which include 48 Premier League goals over 161 league appearances, as well as 17 international strikes.
In reaction to the tweet, fans of Everton flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing to be delighted that their club managed to get the deal for King over the line late on Monday evening.
Whether or not he can provide an immediate impact up front alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who could certainly benefit from taking some of the goalscoring pressure off his shoulders, remains to be seen.
