Everton: Fans react to confirmed Maarten Stekelenburg exit to Ajax

Lots of Everton fans have reacted to the confirmed exit of Maarten Stekelenburg to Ajax as Toffee TV relayed previous news from the Merseyside club that the 37-year old would leave after the 2019/20 season finishes.
As per the official website of the Blues, Stekelenburg signed a short-term contract extension last month and would officially leave after their final Premier League game at Goodison Park against Eddie Howe’s AFC Bournemouth.
The Dutch international played in 26 matches in all competitions since the 2016/17 term but did not feature at all in this campaign, according to Transfermarkt, so perhaps it is not a surprise that he has been allowed to leave.
Several EFC supporters urged for Jordan Pickford to join Stekelenburg in leaving on Twitter, which again is arguably unsurprising given that the 26-year old made four errors leading to goals in the top flight in this season, with only Newcastle United keeper Martin Dubravka making more (via premierleague.com).
Should Pickford be sold by Everton?
Yes
