Loads of Everton fans have been slamming the news that Seamus Coleman will be assessed after sustaining an injury while on international duty.
As per the official website of the Goodison Park faithful, the Republic of Ireland international will return to USM Finch Farm next week to be assessed by the medical staff of the Merseyside club.
Should Everton keep Coleman?
The injury was sustained in training with his country ahead of their friendly game versus Gareth Southgate’s England team at Wembley Stadium, which consequently ruled the 32 year-old out of the match in which the Three Lions won 3-0.
Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping that the injury that Coleman has unfortunately sustained is not serious, as the Toffees have lost both games in the Premier League this season when the right-back was absent through injury (Transfermarkt).
Everton fan reaction to Coleman news
These EFC supporters slammed the news on Twitter, with a couple of Blues even claiming that it is ‘ridiculous’:
Why next week? He should be back there now or is having a holiday there? The number of injuries we have had over the years from players playing for Ireland have been ridiculous
