Everton duo James Rodriguez and Yerry Mina both played a star role in Colombia’s 3-0 win versus Venezuela in their World Cup qualifying game.
Although neither player managed to get themselves on the scoresheet or assist one of the goals, they both worked tirelessly to ensure that their country got the win.
Rodriguez was a great influence as captain

Mina also recorded one interception and won two of his aerial duels, also earning him a 7.6 overall score by the website.
Everton players in good form for the Merseyside derby
Indeed, both Rodriguez and Mina are in good form ahead of the Merseyside derby against Liverpool, and will both be hoping to replicate their displays for their country when they return to Goodison Park.
Carlo Ancelotti’s team are off the back of four wins out of four in the Premier League, whereas the Reds will be hoping to bounce back from their quite humiliating 7-2 away defeat at the hands of Aston Villa.
