Everton have reportedly set their sights on a potential move in the January transfer window for Ferencvaros winger Adama Traore.

The Lowdown: Struggling for goals

The Goodison Park outfit are struggling for goals at the moment, with just four in six games in the Premier League so far this season, the joint-third fewest in the top flight.

Of course, they have lost the potent Dominic Calvert-Lewin to injury, while last term's top scorer Richarlison was sold to Tottenham Hotspur during the summer, so they now need to find other reliable sources for goals in the squad.

The Latest: Traore interest

As per Calciomercato, Everton have set their sights on a potential January move for Traore.

However, the Mali winger only joined Hungarian side Ferencvaros in the summer and has a contract there until 2025.

The Verdict: Sign him

Despite bringing in Neal Maupay from Brighton and Hove Albion, Frank Lampard's team could certainly do with some more firepower.

Traore would likely provide just that, with 12 goals and four assists already in just 14 games across all competitions so far this term (Transfermarkt).

The Mali international can play anywhere across the front line, and at 27 years of age, the Toffees would be buying a player who's about to hit his prime.

However, it could be a difficult deal to pull off, given that the winger has only recently joined Ferencvaros.
