Frank Lampard is reportedly considering signing free agent Tom Rogic for Everton.

The Lowdown: Kudus first?

The Times journalist Paul Joyce has shared that the Goodison Park outfit are set to sign attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus from Ajax on loan, with a view to a permanent deal.

He would be their sixth signing of the summer transfer window so far, after James Tarkowski, Ruben Vinagre, Dwight McNeil, Conor Coady and Amadou Onana.

The Latest: Rogic considered

As per The Daily Record's live transfer blog (10:30am), Lampard is also 'considering' a move for Rogic to add to those attacking midfield ranks. He left Celtic as a free agent at the end of last season.

However, interest in the Australia international is thought to be 'high', and he is 'keen' to sign for a new club quickly to get him best prepared for the FIFA World Cup in the winter.

The Verdict: No-brainer

To get someone of Rogic's experience on a free transfer is surely a no-brainer for the Merseyside club.

Hailed as a 'special' player by The Athletic's Celtic correspondent Kieran Devlin, and a 'magician' by Hoops legend Chris Sutton, Rogic enjoyed a glittering career at Celtic Park, scoring 46 goals and making 49 assists in 272 appearances for the club (17 trophies in the process.

Adding both Kudus and Rogic would really add some guile to the Toffees' midfield, and may even cover for a lack of striking options up front.
