Sandro Ramirez really did struggle at Everton.
The former Barcelona striker arrived amidst plenty of fanfare in 2017 after an impressive season with Malaga. During the 2016/17 campaign, he scored 14 times in 30 La Liga matches, which made the £5.2m fee that Everton paid to sign him look like an absolute bargain.
However, things just didn’t work out at Goodison Park. In the end, the 25-year-old managed just one goal in 16 matches for the Toffees and managed to hit the back of the net just four times in three loan spells awat from the club. This summer, he left on a free transfer, and many Everton fans didn’t seem too unhappy to watch him depart.
Should Everton have kept Sandro Ramirez?
At his new club Huesca, though, he has started rather well. In fact, it took him just six seconds to open the scoring on his debut against Real Valladolid on Sunday after coming on from the bench.
As you can imagine, this had Everton fans reacting in their droves, and they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
Let’s see what the fans had to say about Sandro

Good for him. Always gave everything in the few appearances in the shirt, but not suited to the PL. Hope he does well.

Tbf considering we only have one striker available why did we get rid of him?
