Everton: Fans buzz as club to make offer for Atletico Madrid ace Santiago Arias

Loads of Everton fans have been buzzing as Spanish football journalist Diego Rueda revealed on his official Twitter page that the Merseyside club will make a transfer offer for Atletico Madrid ace Santiago Arias.
Indeed, Carlo Ancelotti may be looking to strengthen in the right-back area with potentially just club-captain Seamus Coleman to call upon in that role if Jonjoe Kenny were to leave – he has been linked with a return to Schalke 04.
Does Arias start over Coleman for Everton?
Yes

No

Arias averaged more tackles, interceptions, blocks, shots, key passes and crosses than the 31-year old Irishman (via Whoscored) in their respective domestic leagues in the 2019/20 season, and so the 28-year old may be a viable option for the Italian coach.
These members of the Goodison Park faithful buzzed upon reading the news, with one EFC supporter urging the Merseyside club to “get James in his ear,” as James Rodriguez and Arias are international teammates with Colombia.
Check out the rest of the reaction from these Toffees below, where one Blue even branded the full-back as a “talent”:
Everton realizará en las próximas horas una oferta al Atlético de Madrid para contar con el colombiano Santiago Arias. Se cayó el acuerdo que tenía con Djibril Sidibé, que regresa a Mónaco

I’d sign Aarons for future as well but for a now player I would sign Arias. Has some speed and has more quality defending and playing as a wing back moving forward with good crosses. Aarons would be better long term as Arias is 28 yrs old
