Loads of Everton fans have been buzzing as Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the signing of Watford ace Abdoulaye Doucoure on his official Twitter page.
According to the tweet from the transfer guru, the 27-year old is a new player for the Merseyside club, as there has been a total agreement reached with the Hornets over his transfer.
Has Doucoure been a good signing for Everton?
All of the necessary paperwork has been signed as the Toffees prepare their official announcement following the signings of Allan from Napoli and James Rodriguez from Real Madrid.
Indeed, Doucoure would complete a new-look midfield at Goodison Park under Carlo Ancelotti, and he would arguably be an upgrade on some of the other midfielders that the Italian boss currently has at his disposal.
Comparing the stats of the Frenchman to Fabian Delph, Tom Davies and Andre Gomes in the Premier League in 2019/20, Doucoure averaged the most tackles, shots and key passes per match, as per Whoscored.
