Everton: Fans excited by transfer link to Atletico Madrid ace Thomas Lemar

Lots of Everton fans have been excited by a transfer link to Thomas Lemar as Le 10 Sport reported that the Merseyside club are interested in signing the Atletico Madrid ace in the summer window.
Lemar had perhaps not shown the full extent of the qualities that he possesses during the 2019/20 season, not managing a single goal or assist in 29 games in all competitions, according to Transfermarkt.
However, being just 24 years of age, the French international still has a lot of time in his career to show why Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal bid a quite staggering £92m for him just over three years ago.
Lemar was a key part of the Monaco team that beat French giants PSG to the Ligue 1 title in the 2016/17 campaign, scoring a relatively impressive nine goals and providing a further 12 assists in 34 matches, as per Transfermarkt.
He was also part of the France squad that won the 2018 World Cup, beating Croatia 4-2 in the final (via Transfermarkt).
Would Lemar start for Everton?
Yes

No

These members of the Goodison Park faithful hailed the news on Twitter, with one Toffee even branding him as a ‘powerhouse’ and another asking manager Carlo Ancelotti to “swap with Iwobi”, with the Nigerian scoring only twice all season following his £34m move from Arsenal last summer:
This is a signing I can see happening and potentially working, loan to buy would be a nice outcome

Would be a good signing if it were possible. Unfortunately can’t see Lemar coming to us. If he does it would be Carlo’s pulling power.
