Many Everton fans have been hailing a report about the club making a transfer enquiry to assess the availability of Christian Eriksen.
As per the print edition of La Stampa (via SempreInter), the attacking midfield player may be allowed to leave Inter Milan on a loan deal during this month’s window providing that a club can cover his wages for the rest of the 2020/21 term.
Should Everton sign Eriksen?
The Merseyside club, as well as Arsenal, have both reportedly made enquiries about the possibility of signing the former Spurs ace.
The Denmark international could certainly be a shrewd addition by Carlo Ancelotti’s team, given that he played in no fewer than 226 games in the Premier League over seven consecutive seasons, scoring a very impressive 51 goals and making a further 66 assists (Transfermarkt) whilst at Tottenham.
